As an African-American, unfortunately you come into this life pretty confident that at some point you’ll be a victim of direct racism, discrimination or labeled with some generic stereotype like “hoodrat” , “angry” or “baby mama”.  At the very least, you’ll be the victim of your own paranoia that every curious question, side-eye or muffled giggle is a slight at the color of your skin. But what I learned this weekend is that even more than that there’s the very real possibility that other races will make you into their own personal Rosa Parks.
