5 Things I Miss About Being Pregnant and 6 Things I Don’t

things i miss about pregnacy

  1. Not being able to face my husband while we sleep…or hug him correctly.

Hugging my husband suddenly reminded me of Jhene Aiko’s “hug diss” to Drake on SNL. If I only knew it was a foreshadowing of our future lives as parents. My right side almost always felt better to sleep on so most nights my husband rolled over only to see my back. Now that I don’t have a baby peninsula hanging from my abdomen, it’s nice to finally have a night with the baby in her bassinet and nothing in between me and hubby but the occasional bout of morning breath.

Thanks so much for your support! With all the changes I’ve been going through you know I had to write about them. It’s comforting to know that none of us knows what the hell we’re doing whether our kids are 6 mths or 16 years and we’re all learning together!
